sparkle -- have a new header on today -- thanks for the nice word on the folk art header. He looked like a good ole boy enjoying the beautiful day. --thanks barbara
Florence -- I never know about the behavior of dogs when I am out and about in strange territory. This guy looked friendly but I am glad he was on the other side of the fence from me -- thanks -- barbara
Joanne -- I think I want to be reincarnated as a dog (who has a good owner) and just sleep, observe, eat and play. Also to be petted and loved by many other folks who love dogs. Such a life. thanks -- barbara
turquoisemoon -- thanks for the warm words. This photo was just waiting to be taken -- I thought the dog would at least put his head up but I think he was just loving the sun -- thanks -- barbara
We have a little dog who sleeps in the sun with one eye very slightly open. He snores indoors but outside he is on guard. Lovely life for some dogs. Nice picture, made me smile.
claggle -- I would say that your dog is on guard outside with that one eye slightly open. I've read that having a dog is better than having a security system. Probably true in most cases. thanks for the kind words -- barbara
June -- It was a beautiful day in Oregon. I took some house photos where this dog was -- it had a beautiful fence with roses lining the front yard. Might put it on my blog soon? thanks -- barbara
First your background Notebook post is lovely. Second. I like your fence and the good old boy sleeping.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed your day in Oregon.

DeleteMost of my dogs have been the kind that would welcome anyone and everyone. Not exactly useful as a guard. LOL!

ReplyDeleteOne Fly -- He was behind a fence -- don't think he had any intention of jumping over it. thanks -- barbara

DeleteDogs know when there's danger and you were not dangerous, so why should he bestir himself? Looks like a nice afternoon for people and dogs.
