Historic House Lancaster KY
Love these beautiful old touches. They knew how to make a building stand out back then.
Mamabug -- They did. Unfortunately many are not cared for today. thanks -- barbara
Love the barn doors on yesterday's post (other blog). Is that tin on that storefront??? Aren't you glad you're capturing this, before they're gone?!
turquoisemoon -- I think what looks like tin is pressed zinc. The outdoor elements are certainly at work on this old building. thanks -- barbara
Madison County? Are there bridges there?
Birdman -- There are Bridges of Madison County -- thanks barbara
Neat post.
Nature Weaver -- Thanks for the nice comment -- barbara
When you think of the loving care that went into those details: it's kind of sad.
Hattie -- Workmanship had a different connotation than it does today. thanks barbara
