Aww, I've heard of being snowed in, but it looks like somebody got snowed out! Well, maybe the family is spending the winter in Florida, and the snow will be all gone by the time they return home. :-)
Laloofah -- I think you are right -- I believe the tenants are still in Florida listening to all the forecasts of winter blizzards while they sip nectar in the sun. -- barbara
Fortunately for our local birds, the snow has gone around us for most of this winter (knock on wood). I hope that trend continues because the wrens will be back soon, and I need them in their tenant houses to oversee the garden. Lovely photo, Dianne
Dianne -- For KY the weather is looking real good -- for the rest of Feb that is. Sure hope your weather remains snow free so your birds can scout out your rentals. I have recently heard some spring bird calls in my woods -- a positive sign that spring is just around the corner. -- barbara
Yep, that door is definitely closed due to snow!
ReplyDeleteHow CUTE!!!! Yep, needs a little help from Mother Nature....might also need a little help from a housekeeper....that snow needs sweeping!
ReplyDeleteElora
Someone needs a tiny little snow shovel! Great picture, Barbara.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing a re-post tomorrow of our corn crib.
Tess -- Available this spring. -- barbara
ReplyDeleteVicki -- Great that you are going to repost your corn crib as I have not seen or read it. -- barbara
ReplyDeleteElora -- Mother Nature is the housekeeper and she insists on leaving the snow where it is -- barbara
ReplyDeleteOur recent snow seems to have closed up more than that sweet birdhouse. Looking forward to some warmer temps this weekend.
ReplyDeleteFarmchick -- Yes, I read online that we are in for a treat in the weather department. Let us all enjoy. -- barbara
