  1. Screen doors open here in Kentucky as well. We are all thankful for the return of warmer temps. Wishing you a great rest of the week.

  2. Michelle -- Glad to hear you finally can use your screen doors in KY. I do think we have put winter behind us. We only got snow once this winter but the gray skies and cold rains can get to you around here. Thanks for the nice wish and same to you. -- barbara

  4. Joanne -- I was careful. We do get ourselves in some odd situations don't we. But I do love unique doors and just had to have this photo -- thanks -- barbara

    1. Melissa -- thanks -- screen doors always remind me of warm weather -- this one is commercially sturdy. My banner photo was taken in a country store in Ky. They were still using these for seeds. -- barbara

  6. Barbara~It's old (& wooden!) but has some freshness left with its pastel colors...Glad as always to see the recordings of your explorations & to know how much you enjoy discovering new (old) sights.

    1. Rita -- Old wooden door put together in an exceptionally strong way -- probably because it was used commercially. Now the door seems like a work of art to me compared to a modern Lowe's type of screen door. thanks for your nice comment -- barbara

    1. Rita -- I found it in a country store in KY. Such objects were easy and fun to find there. Now I have to work harder to find pockets with remaining folk traditions. thanks -- barbara
