HANDMADE EGG SIGN

Sign on old wood shed along a country road
in Rockcastle county. Old cement steps and a fresh black topped road should help bring some customers.

  1. I hope someone's home to sell me a dozen - they'll be so much better than the ones in the store.

    1. June -- I know that store eggs are old as they are kept in storage until they are brought to the stores. There are several farms around here that sell fresh eggs. I always find their signs so quaint, thanks for the comment -- barbara

  2. Finding sites to foto, then finding a place to park is not as easy as you make it look. I tried yesterday... Good job!

    1. turquoisemoon -- You are right about parking to take that wonderful shot that you absolutely must have. It can be tricky and sometimes even a bit scary. I have found that emergency lights flickering help in many situations -- warns other drivers that there is a crazy photographer on the road trying to take a photo out their window or they're deciding where the hell they'll park. Take care and be safe while trying to get your shot. -- barbara

  5. We have a woman nearby who sells eggs from her back porch purely on the honor system. Yes, choose farm-fresh anytime you can.

  6. We have to settle for those in the supermarket, so these would have been refreshing.
