ABANDONED PHOTO ART

PLEASE NOTE: This is my first attempt at creating a YouTube video. I cheated a bit as my dot.com son helped me every step of the way. I'm learning a lot from him lately. I do appreciate his sharing of some of the knowledge that he has. So here is the results of my attempt -- it was a fun and complex experience as usual --  meaning every new step I learn with computers is challenging.

  1. Ahhh, but you did not cheat Barbara. You grew. To accept help, especially from one you raised is a compliment to yourself. Like the time worn buildings you photographed. Should a young or old hand decide to once again give them purpose they can be restored and thrive again. Maybe not in the shape and form they originally were built in but perhaps a better longer lasting one. Least that is the way I see it. Give your son a pat on the back and a smile. Enjoyed the utube.

  3. You always take wonderful pictures and seeing them fade into one another like this is fascinating. You're lucky to have a son who can teach you these things.

  7. Grampy -- thanks for shifting my attention to the idea that I grew with my son's help. I must admit I have been tapping his knowledge while he is staying here. He was heading back West this week but unfortunately broke his collarbone and can't leave until some important healing is done. Thank you for the very nice words -- barbara

  14. The time worn building are art themselves aren't they! Beautiful. Just proof that old things allowed to weather without interference take on a beauty all of their own...
