    The tree stump looks very much like a shortened electrical pole to me, but even if it is, it was once a tree and now it is a stump.

    Genevieve, Possibly it was a sawed off electrical pole? Looks like a tall tree stump to me? The handmade clothes-line pole supports the old folk adage, waste not, want not. Thanks for giving it a look. I really enjoy your blogs!
