There are also two smaller organic grocery stores near me. Both are non-box and offer local food such as delicious raw goats milk from a local farm. Really fun to shop at stores that provide small farms the ability to survive while giving us wholesome food. Yes, the dad and kids were all smiles and so cute. Enjoyed taking the photos. thanks -- barbaraFolkways Note Bookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07168881905408345126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4872424549721246994.post-24544363132301260802014-10-09T13:19:20.519-07:002014-10-09T13:19:20.519-07:00Dear Barbara,

Many dogs assume that description after living with persons a while. I like cats too. I guess it's a matter of what you are used too -- I have had dogs around me most of my life. Fun to meet folks with my camera. My favorite new store to buy organic foods at is called Food Front in the Hillsdale neighborhood of Portland. Of course I buy at three different organic stores as I have not found one that carries everything that I want. I have never been to a Trader Joes. Will have to see if there are any near me -- thanks for the comment -- barbaraFolkways Note Bookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07168881905408345126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4872424549721246994.post-34633131854867444162014-10-07T08:54:56.991-07:002014-10-07T08:54:56.991-07:00troutbirder -- Chesapeake Bay Retriever's are ...troutbirder -- Chesapeake Bay Retriever's are wonderful as are German Shepherds. I had a German Shepard when my children were just tots and he was fantastic with them. I agree that female dogs seem to have a more nurturing behavior. I wouldn't mind having a German Shepard again if she was small enough for me to handle. thanks for your input -- barbaraFolkways Note Bookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07168881905408345126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4872424549721246994.post-7071055123090501202014-10-07T08:29:23.376-07:002014-10-07T08:29:23.376-07:00John -- He looked like he had his hands full when ...John -- He looked like he had his hands full when I took these photos -- what a happy bunch they were.
