  7. Our recent snow seems to have closed up more than that sweet birdhouse. Looking forward to some warmer temps this weekend.

  9. Aww, I've heard of being snowed in, but it looks like somebody got snowed out! Well, maybe the family is spending the winter in Florida, and the snow will be all gone by the time they return home. :-)

  10. Laloofah -- I think you are right -- I believe the tenants are still in Florida listening to all the forecasts of winter blizzards while they sip nectar in the sun. -- barbara

  14. Fortunately for our local birds, the snow has gone around us for most of this winter (knock on wood). I hope that trend continues because the wrens will be back soon, and I need them in their tenant houses to oversee the garden. Lovely photo, Dianne

  15. Dianne -- For KY the weather is looking real good -- for the rest of Feb that is. Sure hope your weather remains snow free so your birds can scout out your rentals. I have recently heard some spring bird calls in my woods -- a positive sign that spring is just around the corner. -- barbara
